hello everyone - Looking for starview software

Hi Guys (& gals)

Acquired a starview 4 box a couple/three years back and have never got it working!

Last try - here to find software.

even if it is not that good making it work has become a bit of A personal crusade!

I am quite technical and can use computers and the like - but this kind of technology
is completely new to me.

Do I plug it into an aerial connection or does it need a satellite feed?
Will the aerial output of a sky box work?

Or is it just a loop? I do not have an aerial going into the sky box.

How do I find software I can download where the link is not kaput!

I keep running into that on a site similar to this one.

Is starview firmware set in stone - or would firmware for a more recent box also
run on a starview 4?

I may have been born in outer London and currently reside in Kent
but I have been a 'scouser', as far as football is concerned for best
part of 45 years and if they do not win a little easier my fingers will be

Therefore I can not download.

How does a fella start being useful when currently
