Noobie from Northern Ireland

hi i have been around the internet for many years, i was many years ago into finding and hacking FTP's PUBS and other places to put files onto servers around the world for sharing without
hammering my own isp when many years ago it was hard to get filmz and appz as i said this was many years ago to help others requests.

my claim to fame was managing to get English language and commentary to Fifa 2005 for the scene when nobody else could this went viral in hours if only i got a £1 for every one used my files lol.

Now im older and wiser and left the WWW and not been involved in any forums for many years as found myself involved in rebuilding boats and golfing which keeps me out of trouble lol.

recently i was having drinks with a friend and he was going on about his openbox and only paying a small annual payment as im paying about £75 a month for my sky package, i said i like the idea but i like watching recording other channels and sky demand and rewind and pause which he never had a answer too, i did my own research and found you can do what i wanted so i got today a Vu+ Duo box and also a openbox on way.

i have started up the Vu and has Vix as image and so far im happy but not rushing to remove my sky yet until i have properly road tested it.

i have done alot of trawling over the net and found this forum to be very user friendly and helpful on most posts asked which has made me register here as i certainly be testing oldies patients at time lol.
