skybox f5s box problem

Hi all,
new to site. I have a f5s and every time I use the remote i.e change channel or change the volume one minute its fine, then the next time if I adjust the volume for instants it changes channel or types random numbers. Tried a different remote but still the same. Anybody had the same fault and is box fudged?
