new virgin media, help! turns wifi off

hey there all,

got transferred from smallworld media to virgin media and got new super hub fitted today, the thing is, when I switch on my F5s the wireless internet for the whole house goes off, 2 laptops, 2 iPads etc, when I turn the skybox off, guess what? the wireless returns.
is virgin controlling the skybox wireless thing? any help out there?
