cable from dish cut advice pls

i have never had sky where i live now but there is a sky dish up outside but the wire has been cut .
What i want to know is can i just join areal wire to it n bring in into the how for my new box or is it a different type of wire and if so where can i get new wire
for the dish ? . It is a real sky dish as the last tenant had sky when she lived here .

if i can get new wire for the dish where would i get the connector that connect;s it to my box ?
