Hi there my name is Stewart and i live in the UK i joined this group to find out some information and would like to chat with some of the regs for knowledge. I recently bought a Skybox F5s from E bay and it came with free gift , all is going well so far have a few glitches here and there can be expected as far as i understand the channels that are premium are being unlocked through the broadband connection , all being fed by 1 or more servers. I and a few friends have crossed over from Sky or Virgin 2 of the major competitors in the UK as we're sick to the back teeth of the price forever increasing for one reason to another. I have used Xbmc with some of the special addons like mashup for mainly the super quality movie streams or if ive missed an episode from sky , going back to the f5s box i havent tried the recording function as i dont know if its going to do the same job as an official skybox.
