would this boxx be idea for a novice

Hi all,

the this box be idea for a novice (VU + PLUS DUO TWIN TUNER HD PVR LINUX DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER ) £199


Was thinking of buying the f5 but i likes to record quite a bit would this be idea,is the set up still the same as the f5,not sure if its a good price or is there any similar or cheaper than can watch a channel and record a diff channel at the same time.
